Weekend Homework

Happy Thursday!!
Remember, I changed the homework for this weekend:
Read 'The C Word in the Hallways" by Quindlen (found under the links on this blog).
Write a short summary that states the main idea and one or two key quotes.  Don't forget to introduce the quote, put the quote in quotation marks, and then reflect on the quote's meaning.
Also include and internal citation and a Works Cited.
Some nice introductory signal verbs before quotes :

Acknowledges, adds, admits, agrees, argues, asserts, believes, claims, comments, compares, confirms, contends, declares, denies, disputes, emphasizes, endorses, grants, illustrates, implies, insists, notes, observes, points out, reasons, refutes, rejects, reports, responds, suggests, thinks, writes.


Ex: Quindlen argues that " The saddest phrase..."
